Morpheus3 SDK VirtualMachine is an emulator enabling you to test the device all the way down the architecture with no dependency on your PC’s operating system (just like VMWare or VirtualBox would….)

You can also run all the original apps directly on the emulator’s virtual device and be guaranteed they will run exactly as on the real device.

Applications and Features

Older version of Morpheus SDK came with a Simulator, Morpheus3 SDK now includes a full VirtualMachine which enables you to go much further:

Test UI responsiveness

Used today by our own MUI team, the tool displays the number of frame per second displayed on screen while the application is running. With this test, developers can detect lags or difficulties in the transition between screens.

Create regression test suite

Core to the development process; each modifications to the sources of the application must be tested using the regression test suite, before propagating to the rest of the team. The suite enables testing, commenting and sharing test results

New Device Skin added

The skin engine provides a way to customise the skin layer around the emulator and allows you to add your logo and take a demonstration video of the user experience going through various use-case scenarios exactly like if you were using the real device.

Test the physical buttons around the emulator like on the real device.
Test har reset button, On/Off and any programmable physical button available on the device.
