Asbotek Elektronik, the leading provider of fleet management services in Turkey, has announced that it is now adding Real Time Driving Status to its portfolio.

As part of the Softeal offering, fleet managers can now remotely authenticate Company Cards access and extract Digital Tachograph data. Using the C4 D CAN, Mobile Devices’ high-end BlackBox, Asbotek is then able to provide real time reporting based on the digital tachograph data.

This feature gives the fleet manager the ability to manage and control the active status information of both the main driver and co-driver – whether driving, resting or working – with the back office software. Monitoring each driver’s working hours helps to ensure that they stay within the confines of the EU Driver’s Hours rules. The information can also be shown on the driver’s smart screen.

These new features complement the rich set of services already offered by Asbotek using the C4 D CAN Blackbox, including:

  •     Full access to the FMS/CanBus
  •     Workflow and task management integrated with ERP
  •     Track & Trace with messaging
  •     Vehicle and driver performance analysis reports
  •     Peripheral and/or sensor devices connectivity and monitoring

Asbotek’s CEO, Tezer Unal, commented: “Enabling real time access to taco data is a critical feature for managers of big fleets, especially long haul trucks. It is also a unique differentiator for Asbotek in Turkey as it demonstrates our ability to innovate using the Morpheus3 platform and its SDK
